A Power Girl is a girl who is confident, positive, kind and open-minded. This camp aims to empower young girls to love themselves and grow as individuals. We focus on communication and problem-solving skills. We also work to improve each girl's confidence and inner strength. Here at Power Girls, we believe that every girl can be a Power Girl.

About Us
Ella Acker
Power Girls was created by high school sophomore Ella Acker, from the belief that every Power Girl should be confident in themselves and know that they're capable of anything! Star Wars enthusiast and major bookworm, you can find Ella spending time with her dog, Bella, or jamming on her ukulele. Ella plays attack for the Drake Varsity Girls Lacrosse team, was a co-captain on the JV Girls Soccer team and will be the Junior Class President for Drake High School next year. Power Girls emphasizes a positive mindset, believing in oneself and the power of lifting others up; these are things that Ella hopes other girls can benefit from and learn to channel their inner Power Girl!
Abby Rosen
Abby Rosen is a sophomore at Drake High School. She plays volleyball for Drake's indoor and beach teams and was also the captain of the JV Girls Volleyball team. In her free time, Abby enjoys watching movies, spending time with her family and painting. Whether it's coaching volleyball, being a role model for her little sister, or being a team captain for sports teams, Abby always tries to use her leadership skills on a day to day basis. With Power Girls, she aims to not only make each day super fun and eventful for everyone but to also make sure each girl walks out of camp more confident and ready to take on the world!
